New Beginnings

Damian put the beginning supplies into his backpack, except his Pokedex, for it would be an invaluable tool for figuring out stats during a battle. "Vul!" His little companion cried out, wanting him to hurry up. "Patience is a virtue, Kit. We have to make sure we're prepared!" He said in reply. 

The two walked out of the Lab, and set out for Route 1. "Here" Damian began in thought, "I can get some early training with Kit, and probably get a new Pokemon, as well" He walked through the grassy route, Kitsune loyally following close behind, while also looking around it's large surroundings. 

[The Almighty Fate!]

When suddenly, a wild Rattata appeared!

The female Rattata was foraging along side the road when she heard two sets of footsteps. One set was definitely from a Vulpix. The other was from one of those human things. Curious, she hid along the bushes beside the road, watching them approach. At the last second, she jumped out in front of them, baring her fangs at the unwelcome intruders. Her tail twitched as she waited for them to make a move.
