Guidebook to PFV1
Rule 1
To start things off, please respect all players and staff. We work really hard to keep this site as friendly as possible. Being rude and name calling are not acceptable and are frowned upon.
Rule 2
Keep real life fighting to a minimum. No one likes drama and we don't come to RPs for it. We all have enough of it in our own lives! (Lord knows I do :3)
Rule 3
Let's keep everything PG-13, people. There are children and underage people on here trying to have a good, clean time.
Rule 4
The chatbox is to be used for OCC (out of character) chat only. If the need arises, I'll create one specifically for IC (in character).
Rule 5
I'm gonna be a stickler for this, just because it'll keep everyone's profiles from getting cluttered and everything getting confusing. One account per character, please. It really is so much easier on everyone than trying to decipher who you're RPing as and which Pokemon you have. When you create your character and they're accepted, please change the display name to the character's name.
Starting Out
Rule 6
You will automatically get new supplies when you finish your app and it is approved. You will start out with 5 x Pokeballs, 2 x Antidotes, and 1 x Full Heal.
Rule 7
If you're just starting out (ages 10-11), you put which Pokemon you would prefer. No evolved forms, legendaries, or shiny Pokemon may be starters. They can only be evolved or traded. All starters begin at level 5.
Rule 8
Gym leaders must have Pokemon pertaining to the Gym's type.
Pokemon
Rule 9
It's highly recommended that you keep a database of your Pokemon, their levels, the moves they know/have learned/have been taught.
Rule 10
Breeding of Pokemon is not allowed unless you hold a Breeder's Badge. People may come to you and ask for Pokemon babies. If you have them in your inventory, you may sell them and post in the Transactions thread or PM a staff member with the PM title "Transaction".
Rule 11
Refer to The Pokemon Database for leveling up, moves, breeding, and sprites for your database. We will be referring to this throughout our training, tutorials, and battles.

Rule 12
Please do not ask to be staff. If I've sent you a PM or have a staff audition open, refer to that. The right person for the job will get it. Please don't be disappointed or quit because you don't get to be staff. That's not what we're about here.

I understand that we all have lives away from our computers, as hard as it might be to believe for some of you, and I do not expect you to log on every day. There will be no activity checks.
Rule 14
I understand that things come up, school comes first, and that drama can keep you from the internet (especially where parents are involved). Don't worry. There are no canons, so there's no fear of losing your spot or your Pokemon. However, if you hold a position of power or a gym spot (gym leader/assistant), and you have not posted for more than 2 weeks, that someone else may have your position. Don't get offended.
If something does come up, and you know about it beforehand, post in our Away board to prevent anything from happening to your account/position.
