This gym is the official gym of Viridian City. The Trainers here train with Ground-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader position is still open. Once you defeat the Gym Leader, you will receive the Earth Badge.

This gym is the official gym of Pewter City. The Trainers here train with Rock-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader position is still open. Once you defeat the Gym Leader, you will receive the Boulder Badge.

If you're looking for Pokemon, you've come to a strange place to look unless you have a flashlight. You can find Zubat, Geodude, Paras, Sandshrew, and if you're lucky, a Clefairy! You can also find evolutionary stones such as the Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunderstone, Leaf Stone, and the Moon Stone here. All are very valuable, the Moon Stone being the rarest of the five.

On the outskirts of Cerulean City lies Cerulean Cave, also known as the Unknown Dungeon. It is said to be home to "horribly strong Pokémon". You can attempt to capture the level 70 Mewtwo. Only Trainers who compete and win in the Pokémon League at Indigo Plateau may enter due to the strength of the Pokémon in the cave. Mewtwo lies at the end of the cave, the only one of its species.

This gym is the official gym of Saffron City. The Trainers here train with Psychic-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader position is still open. Once you defeat the Gym Leader, you will receive the Marsh Badge.

This gym is the official gym of Vermilion City. The Trainers here train with Electric-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader position is Anna Marine. Once you defeat the Gym Leader, you will receive the Thunder Badge.

Ever wondered where the bad guys hide? Well here you are, having stumbled on us! What's it gonna be? Join or have all your Pokemon stolen? Your choice!

The organization exists to care for abandoned and orphaned Pokemon. Many members of the organization live in the safe house, looking after the abandoned Pokemon.

This gym is the official gym of Fuchsia City. The Trainers here train with Poison-Type Pokemon. The Gym Leader position is still open. Once you defeat the Gym Leader, you will receive the Soul Badge.

Here, you can catch all sorts of Pokemon! As long as you can see them, that is! You can find Seel, Horsea, Krabby, Shellder, Staryu, Slowpoke, Zubat, Psyduck, Golbat, Golduck, Dewgong, Kingler and Slowbro. Good luck in there! You'll need it...

Indigo Plateau serves as the capital for the Pokémon League. It is the final destination for Pokémon Trainers competing in Indigo or Johto League competitions against the Elite Four. This is where the powerful Elite Four battle against Trainers in a final showdown of becoming a master Pokémon Trainer, who may be challenged after defeating all eight Gym Leaders of either respective region.
