Hi, I was looking at a computer that my mother was asking me to try and fix, I asked what was wrong with it and she said that her friend said it was just not working and that she didn't know what was wrong with it. I take the back panel of and look at it to see is there are any key things I can spot right away, mind you, I have never fixed a computer before and I have just partially built my first one about a week ago. the insides are all dusty so I clean it out to the best of my ability with some paper towels while watching out to not brake or touch anything important. I didn't get all the dust out but i got most of it. I plug it into the outlet and the monitor and it starts up fine and gets to the log in page, I plug in the mouse and keyboard so I can log in to make sure everything works and the mouse and keyboard don't work. I know the mouse and keyboard are not broken so would anything in particular cause this? did I do anything wrong when cleaning it? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/why-would-the-back-panel-usb-ports-not-work/Talent Management Platform video
